Clanker: AI-Deployed Meme Token Launchpad on Base

2026-08-03

Clanker is an AI agent that automatically deploys ERC-20 tokens on Base and other EVM chains. Users request a token deployment through social interfaces: primarily Farcaster: and Clanker spins up a Uniswap v4 pool in a single transaction. It is one of the first launchpads to integrate AI-driven token creation at scale, removing the technical barrier between having an idea for a token and having a live market for it.

The protocol's revenue model is elegant. Every token Clanker deploys goes into a Uniswap v4 pool, and whenever that pool is traded, Clanker captures 20% of the LP fees. The remaining 80% flows to the token creator's initial single-sided liquidity position. Revenue is tracked as WETH received by Clanker's fee wallets, net of any token buybacks the protocol executes. The buyback-and-distribute mechanism passes value back to Clanker holders.

Writing the adapter required handling Clanker's rapid multi-chain expansion. It launched on Base, then expanded to Arbitrum, Unichain, Ethereum, Monad, and Robinhood Chain: each with a different pool-factory address and different Uniswap v4 hook configuration. Rather than hard-coding addresses, the adapter needed dynamic contract discovery so new Clanker deployments on future chains get picked up automatically. The revenue calculation reads Collect and Transfer events on Clanker-deployed pools, sums WETH inflows to the fee collector address, and subtracts WETH outflows used for buybacks.

All-time fees have crossed $91.5 million, which is a remarkable number for a launchpad that mostly deploys meme coins. Seven-day fees sit around $309,000 and 24-hour fees around $8,700 at the time of writing. The scale reflects how much trading volume flows through meme coin markets: even a 20% slice of LP fees on volatile short-lived pools adds up quickly when thousands of tokens are launched and traded every day.
