Graphite Protocol: Fee Infrastructure Powering letsbonk.fun
2026-07-18
Graphite Protocol is the smart contract and technical infrastructure behind the letsbonk.fun (LiveBONK) token launchpad on Solana. It is not a user-facing product: users see letsbonk.fun, not Graphite. But Graphite provides the bonding-curve contracts, fee routing, and GP token economics that the platform runs on. It operates as a joint venture between the Graphite team and the letsbonk.fun team.
Revenue is structured as a share of total trading fees generated on the bonk_fun platform. Before June 10, 2025, Graphite received 57.68% of all platform fees. After that date, the share was reduced to 40%. From Graphite's portion, a fraction is used to buy GP tokens on Jupiter and burn them: a deflationary mechanism for the GP governance token. What remains after buybacks goes to the Graphite treasury.
This adapter required identifying the correct fee-routing accounts on Solana and applying the retroactive share change at the exact June 2025 cutoff block. Because Graphite operates behind the scenes, there was no single obvious contract to read: the adapter had to trace fee flows from bonk_fun program accounts to Graphite's designated wallet, then separate the buyback outflows from retained treasury revenue. Getting that split right across a high-volume Solana launchpad required careful account analysis.
All-time fees have reached $11.3 million, with around $782,000 in the past seven days and $72,600 in the most recent day. These numbers reflect letsbonk.fun's position as one of Solana's active meme coin launchers, with Graphite capturing a meaningful slice of that activity through its behind-the-scenes infrastructure role.
