PepeBoost: Telegram Trading Bot Fee Tracking on Solana
2026-08-14
PepeBoost is a Telegram-native trading bot on Solana. Users execute token swaps, sniping, and copy-trading directly inside Telegram without interacting with a web interface. The bot routes trades through Solana DEXs and charges a service fee on each transaction in exchange for speed, convenience, and automation features. It is part of a category of Telegram trading bots that have become significant fee generators by making DeFi accessible to users who prefer messaging apps over browser-based interfaces.
Revenue comes from a trading fee deducted before each trade is routed to the underlying DEX. After collecting fees, PepeBoost distributes a portion back to its referral network and active traders as cashback. Protocol revenue is what remains after these payouts: the fees retained by the platform rather than passed through to referrers or cashback recipients.
Telegram bots present a unique tracking challenge compared to DeFi protocols. There is no smart contract emitting events: there are only fee-collector wallets receiving SOL or tokens. The adapter identifies PepeBoost's fee collector accounts on Solana and sums inflows from trading transactions. Outflows to the reward relayer contract for referral distributions are subtracted to isolate net protocol revenue. Getting the wallet identification right and correctly excluding pass-through referral payments from protocol revenue required careful analysis of the on-chain transaction graph.
All-time fees have reached $9.2 million, which is substantial for a bot that operates entirely inside a messaging app. Seven-day fees are around $7,500 and 24-hour fees around $1,200 at the time of writing. The bot's success reflects a real demand for simple, fast on-chain trading without the overhead of connecting a wallet to a web app.
