Yeet BGT Auction: Gamified DeFi on Berachain

2026-07-18

Yeet is a gamified DeFi protocol on Berachain. Its BGT Auction runs timing-based pool games where users bid BERA to win BGT: Berachain's Governance Token, which controls emission rewards across the chain's proof-of-liquidity system. Beyond the auction, Yeet offers YeetBonds for discounted ecosystem token purchases and YEET staking for protocol revenue sharing. The BGT Auction is the primary revenue-generating component.

Every BERA bid into the auction is a fee. The proceeds are distributed across the Yeet treasury, YEET token buyback-and-burn via the Yeetarded Buyback Vault, BGT bribes to auction participants, and prize pool allocations to timing-game winners. What makes this adapter interesting is that Berachain's proof-of-liquidity model makes BGT a scarce and valuable resource: the auction is a mechanism for protocols to acquire BGT emissions by competing with BERA bids, which means the fee volume reflects how much the ecosystem values those emissions.

The adapter reads bid events from the BGT Auction contract on Berachain. Total BERA inflows per day are captured as gross fees. The Yeetarded Buyback Vault's YEET purchase and burn transactions are tracked separately to compute the buyback component. All-time fees have reached $1.59 million, concentrated in Berachain's active period. Recent daily fees are near zero, which is typical for auction-based protocols: activity spikes around emission cycles and then quiets down.
